Springtime in Iowa...or...There are Better Things to do Than sit in Front of a Computer

Sorry about the lllloooonnnng delay between posts, but it is spring in Iowa and Molly is full of GO! Since the last post we have had both Grammy and Papa and Uncle Tommy and Auntie Cakes (Kate) here for a visit.
There have been lots of making of puzzles, reading of books ("Do you wanna read a book?"), trips to the playground, and water babies (a name she despises...for she is not a baby...she is Big Girl!).

Molly has experianced her first Easter Egg Hunt (lollipops...in the grass?) and celebrated Cheryl's second Mother's Day. There have already been two trips to the Zoo and one to the Childrens Science Center.

Molly can climb most ladders, hang from the monkey bars, and on the playground at least, will wait her turn. Molly has run (in the stoller) her first 5k (Grinnell...WE demand a baby jogger division) and she watched Dad finish another Lincoln Marathon. Molly is keenly interested in how your day was, has mastered pointing with two fingers (in response to "How old are you?"), and blowing bubbles (do you wanna blow some bubbles?).

Please note, if you wait too long after Molly asks a question, she may answer it for you. She is increasingly started to ask questions in the third person when she really wants something, e.g. "Molly, do you want some candy?", which she will then answer for you as well.
The fun has just begun! Happy Spring!
