Friday was scheduled to be Cowles Elementary's annual Trick-or-Trunk event. However, since the weather patterns of the Pacific Northwest have situated itself in Iowa this October, the event was relocated into the hallways of Cowles. For the kids it did not matter. They got hang out with their friends and scored lots of candy. For us parents it was a bit of bummer. Instead of showing off our decorated cars and playing spooky music, we sat on the floor of a crowded hallway with a bowl of treats. At least we were dry.
This year Molly is dressing up as Silvermist. After the sparkly eyeshadow and hair spray to hold the Bumpits in, our water fairy needs a bath.
