Molly really does have a cough. We do not want to be accused of drugging our daughter for a night of sleep, but the night we did not give her the cough medicine, she struggled most of the entire night with long bouts of coughing that would shake her awake. The good news is that the fever seems to have dissipated and the antibiotics appear to be doing the trick. She still has a lot (really, a lot) of snot ( you may think it's funny, but it's snot!).
Other than the illness, we all seem to be adjusting well. All three of us are back on the Central Time Zone and I went back to work for the last three day of the week. Now we just need to find a morning routine where I can get to work before 9:00 AM.
(Early doctor's appointments and car repair appointments haven't helped, Cheryl interjects.)

Yesterday was a an outing to Grinnell. After touring the campus and stopping by Admissions, we picked up the B.O.B. and Burley from Craig Cooper at Bikes-2-U. Of course we also made formal introductions to Emma and Bea, had a little lunch, and ventured over to the park. Molly loved the baby swing and smiled as she gripped the front of the seat firmly. The weather was beautiful - 60s and sunny with a gentle breeze.
Today is a little more quiet. It's chilly, and pouring rain with a thunderstorm right now.
The Anderson-Wilks stopped by this morning with a bit of congee concentrate made by Sarah, and some delicious mandarin oranges.
Cheryl is finally sorting through the heap of gifts that has been burying the diningroom table for the past week and a half, and has hung up a scroll that we bought in Guangzhou.
Between walking laps around the house with Dad or Mom holding her hands, Molly has started pushing herself backward on her belly - in the opposite direction of the objects she is trying to get to. Crawling can't be far off. She is so strong, though, and has good enough balance we think it's possible she may skip crawling all together.
Molly is napping, all three of us are coughing and blowing our noses a lot. But we're doing ok and having fun. Molly and Cheryl agreed this morning that it's nice to have Dad home during the day.
