It is with sadness that we report Cordelia has shuffled off this mortal coil. It was nearly ten years ago that as newlyweds and first time homeowners we naively made a visit to the Animal Rescue League looking for our first pet. Instead a cat chose us. We still laugh about the first night we had her home and the overwhelming feelings of responsibility we had worrying whether we could keep this cat alive. I also remember how sad I felt a year later when she was diagnosed with feline HIV. Dr. Culver could only tell us she could live 6 months or 6 years. This morning Dr. Culver admitted that she proved him wrong nine years ago. We will miss you Cordelia. You were a good cat.
