Things of Note

Things that Dad would like to note:

Molly has started to attend "Play School" twice a week. She even asks to stay for lunch. There's something of a mystique about it - little tables and chairs, matching sippy cups and Cathy with a giant can of syrupy peaches... how can any toddler resist that?

She has started to negotiate in earnest. If you don't respond quickly enough, she will answer for you. However, she hasn't yet learned how to impersonate Mom or Dad.

She still cannot resist watermelon, and will eat half a watermelon if the opportunity presents itself.

Dad took her to a high school football game one Friday night under the big lights at Drake. After she watched the cheerleaders, she asked if she could be one when she got big. After watching the Drum Majors at the halftime show, she asked if she could be a Drum Major and Dad could be a cheerleader.

She has started pretending that we are going on vacation to Linikin Bay. She rides her trike and tells us to hop in the burley and she'll ride us there. Or, she sails her boat (playset/ recently dubbed "The Good Ship Mollipop" by a friend in Chicago)

Molly still needs a nap each day, but she doesn't want to take one...
