First, not to brag, but Molly hit the first live pitch I threw at her. It was a dribbler up the first base line, but a hit never the less.
Backing up, I bought her a tee ball set today. She was introduced to the concept a couple of weeks ago while visiting Julia and Phoebe.
As you may know, I was mildly crushed when it became clear Molly was right handed. However, my heart sang as she grabbed the bat, placed her left hand over her right, and confidently took her first cut from the left side of the plate! She may throw right, but she bats left!
