I would like to record that at 4:05 AM on Thursday, September 3, 2009, I finished reading Herman Melville's Moby-Dick or, The Whale. It was on my fifth attempt. I can now go about living the rest of my life.

... quite an accomplishment. It has been at least six years since he started his first attempt. Might say the book has been his white whale.
