Follow Your Dreams on St. Patrick's Day 3/17/13

Molly's last competition before the Spring State Meet was the Follow Your Dreams Invitational presented by Fliptastic! Gymnastics (the exclamation point is part of their name). Molly was assigned to compete on St. Patrick's Day, but fortunately, this meet was local (Hillard, Ohio, a western suburb).

Last year, it was 75 degrees and sunny on St. Patrick's Day. This year, not so much. But that didn't stop us from attending the parade (sorry, no pictures...it was freezing).

As for the meet, Molly broke 36.00 in All Around for the first time this season, which placed her second overall for the session. The evening was punctuated by her first complete bar routine, a very strong floor and vault, and topped off by going last on the beam and nailing a 9.500. Molly's teammates also had a good meeting - the Buckeye Level 4's won the Team Competition. It was well past 11 PM before Molly fell asleep.
