As a point of reference, the January DTC group received their referrals on September 1, 2005. They formally received the required travel approval on September 28, 2005 and they are now scheduled to leaving for China on November 2, 2005. The final Consulate appointment is scheduled for November 15, 2005 (the Consulate appointment is scheduled first and the rest of the trip is built up to that date).
The February DTC group is still waiting for travel approval, but they had to work around a two-week holiday. So what does this mean for us? If we receive an early November referral we could be looking at an early January travel date.
