Molly!

I'm not sure where to begin, and I'm typing this with one hand as Molly sleeps on my lap with her beautiful little face turned up toward me. We are listening to HEM and Daddy just got back fom the grocery store with Cokes, water, a baby spoon and some snacks for Molly.

As of today, just before noon she is completely ours.

We went to an office a few minutes away to pick her up last night. This morning we went back to the same office and signed some more papers, then went to a notary office. We pledged to take care of her and to never ever leave her, signed a paper and she is ours. Just like that.

She's a good eater. She has loved everything we've tried to give her - congee, pork, watermelon, Cheerios and their Chinese equivalent. She is used to being fed with a spoon - even water and formula. It took awhile, but she finally took a bottle of warm water this afternoon.

She sits with a little help but doesn't crawl. She will support herself standing and will push off with her toes, as if she is used to a walker.

She smiles and laughs a lot and cries only if she needs something, or if we put her down on her stomach. She can feed herself small pieces of food. She loves music. She slept from 9:15 to 7:40 and woke up singing to herself this morning.

She is more beautiful than we ever imagined and we loved her immediately.
