Well, we're going to be spending another night in LA, and leaving early tomorrow morning. The flight is now scheduled for about 8:00 a.m Pacific. We will go to Nanchang, after possibly spending the night in Guangzhou. On this schedule we will make it to Nanchang in plenty of time to meet Molly as scheduled.
To distract and entertain ourselves, we and two other families went for a city wide tour of LA - Venice beach, Sunset Boulevard, the Chinese theater, the Kodak theater where the Oscars will be held later this month, the Hollywood sign. The whole nine yards. It was fun, and what a beautiful day. We stuck our toes in the Pacific at Venice beach and picked up shells. Kathy's daughter, who will turn 9 next week, had never seen the Pacific before or been to an ocean beach so that was really fun to get to see her playing in the waves.
Off to dinner now, then you'll probably hear nothing from us until Nanchang. Wish us luck and don't worry about us at all. Everything will be fine.
